Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data TubeToPodcast processes, why it is used and the choices available to you.

Controller and contact

TubeToPodcast is responsible for the service. Contact legal@tubetopodcast.com for privacy questions or to exercise your rights.

Data we process

Account data: email address, profile name and credentials managed by the authentication service.

Service data: channels or playlists added, feeds created, excluded episodes, settings and records of acceptance of the private-use policy.

Payment data: subscription status and Stripe technical identifiers. To limit the free trial to one use, we retain an irreversible identifier derived from the payment-method fingerprint. TubeToPodcast does not store full card details.

Minimum technical data: IP address, headers, error logs and events required for security and operation.

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics processes device identifiers, visited pages and usage interactions. We do not send Google names, email addresses or URLs of channels added by users.

Purposes and legal grounds

We provide the service, manage your account and store your feeds to perform our contract with you.

We process payments and retain records to meet contractual, accounting and legal obligations.

We protect the platform against abuse and errors based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure service.

We use Google Analytics only with your consent to understand aggregate site usage and improve the product. You can withdraw consent using the Cookies button.

Service providers

We use technology providers for authentication, database and hosting services, Stripe for payments, Google Analytics for consented measurement and YouTube as the source requested by the user. These providers process data under their own terms and data-protection safeguards.

Retention

We retain your account and feeds while you use the service. Billing records are kept for legally required periods. The irreversible identifier used to prevent repeated trials may be retained for as long as needed to prevent that abuse, including after account deletion. You may request account deletion, except for information we must retain by law or a duly justified legitimate interest.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection by contacting us. You may also complain to your competent data-protection authority.
